Many people want to strike out on their own, and become their own bosses, but fear guides them back to their old choices, and old careers. The first step to changing your reality is to accept its current state. Meditate upon the choices that led you here and meditate upon the choices that can lead you out.  Consider the choices you have made, and how they have lead you to your current position in the universe. Meditate on this fact, that you chose every aspect of your current existence, and ask yourself why. What purpose did each of your current struggles serve in your grand scheme of learning and life?

After you have evaluated your choices, you can begin to visualize. Picture yourself as the person you hope that your new business would force you to become. Would you be happier? Thinner? More self-possessed? Would you drive a hybrid vehicle, and listen to different radio stations? Whatever changes you would like to see in yourself as a result of your imagined future success are in fact the changes you must focus on in order to sew your new ontological reality into your current life.

When you have mastered the ability to see a successful version of yourself, you may gradually shift your focus to the idea of a successful business venture. Play your success with different aspects each time you consider it, so that your mind will remain open to possibilities you have not considered. Finally, you will feel the universe respond to your call for change, and you may begin to see change in your daily life that will lead you to your goals if you are not afraid.
